The Boarding section is a valued part of the Woodcreek School community and one we are very proud of. This section will accord our learners a structured, relaxed, consistent and friendly home in which to develop into young adults, confident in themselves, with a developed sense of responsibility and a sound academic understanding to move on to universities.
We will offer flexible boarding options for the students where the students can either opt to be full-time boarders or weekly boarders.
We have set up separate boarding houses for our High School and Senior School (Year 7 - Year 13) girls and boys. Within each boarding house, students will be under the care of a Head of Boys and Head of Girls Boarding, respectively, who live in the boarding house, along with resident boarding house mentors who will be responsible for the general welfare of your child while at Woodcreek.
Each boarding house has separate living and study areas and designated common rooms, gaming rooms, study rooms, gymnasium, cafeteria and a laundromat. This does not mean, however, that students are segregated as there are many opportunities for students to mix in inter-dormitory activities including meals, games and a host of other activities that will be organised by the boarding staff members.
The Core Values of Woodcreek School shall apply to all aspects of Boarding House life as they do to all other areas of the School. The principles of boarding will be carried out in line with the School’s policies and procedures to ensure the safety and wellbeing of every individual.
